The seeds are traditionally collected by monks and artisans on Mount Athos, carefully cleaned, and strung by hand. They possess a natural, robust, and glossy surface — entirely without chemical lacquers.

According to tradition, this plant grew beneath the Cross of Christ from the tears of the Virgin Mary. A profound symbol of faith and a genuine natural product.
