Directly from the Sketes of Karoulia, Mount Athos

We are honored to soon be able to offer prayer ropes and incense from the Skete of Karoulia, Holy Mount Athos – directly from the Hesychasterion of Saint David of Thessaloniki – here in our shop.

Supporting monasteries and sketes has been our deepest wish and the mission of FollowTheSaint from the very beginning – and this moment marks a special milestone that fills us with great gratitude.

We have established contact with the Skete of Karoulia, where monks live under difficult conditions, without electricity, leading a demanding life sustained entirely by their craftsmanship.

The prayer ropes will be available in limited quantities, as they are made at the sketes – in different sizes and styles. At a later stage, we hope to add further products from the monasteries and sketes in the immediate surrounding area.

With this, we hope to fulfill a mission: to support the monks while offering you authentic pieces directly from Mount Athos.
